dulles was 54 degrees and bwi marshall, 53. it was another cool one yesterday afternoon. the trend here stays cool for the next several days as we continue to be under the influence of sort of a northwest flow here, big cool pool of air in the wake of sandy. it is chilly out there this morning. 46 in washington. 37 this morning in leonardtown. 39 in manassas. close to the bay, annapolis, 47 degrees at this hour. so you definitely want a jacket. kids will want a jacket going to the bus stop as our afternoon high temperatures will only top out about 10 degrees warmer than this. as i mentioned in the 50s. combination of the remnants of sandy and a the upper level disturbance coming through. not a lot of energy with t just enough to drop a few showers or sprinkles north and west of town at the moment. i guess it is possible that we could get a light sprinkle or light shower in this region early this morning. the trend will be to keep the clouds around today with a few breaks of sunshine but we could have a few light showers this morning. not going to be a washout like earlier
